2018 Kadri or no we were gonna lose that series the bruins were much better than the leafs

2019 yea Kadri cost us along with some unclutch PK and poor goaltending

2020 muzzin injury cost us along with andersen letting in back breakers and our forwards competing for the best almost goals highlights

2021 leafs in 5, JT Hopefully gets healthy and can play some time in the playoffs as leafs go on the cup run .

I was being sarcastic to the commentor. Of course he has a concussion, I've seen so many over the years and this one was almost as ugly as any. The only positive I guess was his head did not bounce off the ice.

I don't know how anyone can get worked up about the game itself after that traumatic incident. Perhaps the gravity of the injury has escaped them.

But the Leafs have to play about $6 million for a player to earn about the same as a Lightning with a $4.5 million dollar contract. With the difference in taxes, Toronto doesn't get the luxury of having extra cap space to have as deep of a team.

Lets hope that Tavares can come back at some point assuming the Leafs make it pretty far in the playoffs, but as much as it sucks to lose him if the Leafs truly believe they're a real playoff contender then they should be fine without him due to their depth and the talent that the rest of the team has.

If all it takes is the loss of one top player to derail the Leafs, then they were never contenders to begin with and were pretenders all along.
