Injury Report: Captain JT injury (aftermath)

How the f*** is it funny when a person's career and livelihood might be in jeopardy? It's distasteful and disrespectful, and it's questionable whether it actually sold more papers...obviously, it's sensationalism in the name of profit...so yeah, flush all morality down the drain in the name of money. The Captain Crunched thing was also out-of-line.
The picture was very disturbing with the cheesy title, what a bunch of idiots

Glad someone noticed that besides me. I wanted to jump into the tv set and pummel that trainer. It amplified what I was feeling. JT, is a really solid guy. He never gets talked about much, which probably suits him fine. But he is just what embodies a super talented rock solid NHLer.

He reminds me a lot of Andy Bathgate. Not flashy, but great hockey player.

Really gut punched me seeing him go down like that. And the knee injury for sure, was the massive faux pas by the trainer.

no it wasn’t, he got f***ing knee on kneed by chiarot. The trainer did his job.

This video clearly explains that the trainer may have even prevented any additional damage to Tavares’ neck. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

additionally to further disprove your point is that, Spezza in his availability mentioned none of the doctors could get Tavares to lay down. He kept trying to move because he didn’t recognize any of the voices and was confused. He only calmed down once he heard Spezza’s voice.

Par for the course. The Sun has been a sensationalist rag since it was created 50 years ago after the death of the Toronto Telegram, a much better conservative newspaper.

Please explain why Bryon's goal didn't get the front page? It was a massively important short-handed game winning goal, and he scored it on his knees. What was the point of having the photo of Perry's knee at the point of contact on Tavare's head? Sorry, but you can't explain it away with any sensible and reasonable argument.

It was the biggest deal and the story of the game and playoffs so far

I would say the Chiarot hit was what injured him. Tavares was already on his knees when he fell back.

full weight, falling back with legs pinned under.

that’s not a good recipe.

doesn’t really matter though. You can’t prove either one and fans are painting the Habs player as the cause... so that’s what goes.

I think the knee itself will determine how it happened.

Chariot gets his left and the trainer seemed to have the pressure on his right.

Personally I can't see how that fall back doesn't get him injured. That was my first instinct when I saw it.

I guess we all can't be message board Shakespeare's such as yourself...your obvious disdain for masculinity displays and watching hockey is a strange combination though, dude.
I'll let you know how the T-bone is for dinner after the game.

Masculinity is not the question here, its simple reasoning skills and applying critical thinking to a distasteful picture. It's a question of what is right and what is wrong. Some people have morals and I guess some lack common decency and morals. You can decide which side of the fence you sit on.

The only idiot, is someone, who in disagreement, uses disparaging, tones, suggestions or words.

Watch clearly, misnomer, the trainer's actions Only a chimp could miss the misstep.

Is being a millennial a crippling sin now? Not that I'm one, but you know better of course...it was a shallow article by shallow people with no regards to boundaries, decency and where lines should to drawn...not surprised to get a shallow rebuttal here.
Boring. You're superior, I get it.

3;37 DOOF. 3 37. That is a lawsuit, plus. I was a pro athlete, I deal with many of them still now.

I told the forum I was going to bring back greats, and essentially bring back some of their greatness back into o focus. I don't like the term rebranding, just me. But bringing back greats.

Recent example. I and my partner, engaged Borje Salming. Its only been one week, and Borje has been outstanding.

He is so so so saavy, about everything. I just listen to anything he says about hockey.

He said categorically, IF, IF, we beat the Canadiens, we go on to win the CUP.

Any pro athlete, watching 3 37, would say, wow, thanks for absolutely NOTHING.

Get off your horse, its a three legger.

Get some ex Leafs, and some NHLers, gain their confidence, and ask them, what they think about the trainers, faux pas.

I admit, most of them will say nothing . I have explained why that is, previously.

right, when medical professionals all agree that Tavares was the one trying to get up. Not the trainer trying to pick him up. Yes you are an idiot because God knows the situation would have been the exact same regardless of who was there. The trainer didn’t injure Tavares. He was already on his knees when he fell back. No additional damage could have been done there. Tavares is well and alive and only leaving with a concussion because of the great work by the medical personnel at scotia bank and the hospital. Thankfully they were able to respond in an effective manner and he is alright.
