Looks good. Depth is still ass as is goaltending but still big jump ahead.

Not bad at all for a team that's been competitive mostly during the Ovy era.

And the Pens are stuck at 29 - that alone makes me happy.

What is happening up in Vancouver? You’d think all the losing and selling off would at least be sorta beneficial for their pool, lol.

The old GM made it a difficult rebuild and the franchise needs patience.

Leonard and Miro, our new Oshie and Gr8. Very HYPED for Cristall too. In a blink of an eye our future is looking a lot brighter than it did 2 weeks ago.

I'll be honest I was a little concerned the Caps would pick him with 8OA, however after looking at his skill level, attitude, and interviews, he's growing on me and might be steal of the draft. The Caps might walk out of 2023 draft as big winners. Actually, I already believe they are big winners, but it's just seems to get better. One thing about developmental camp is we get an insight of the youngsters other than just hockey skills.

Not meaning to pick on you personally, but I have been so puzzled by the notion that a kid who projects as a great all-around player is somehow a bad use of a top 10 pick. What's the rationale behind it? Is it really preferable to have a kid who's exceptional at just one or two aspects at that age?

Nothing, other than I had other guys on the list before him for my personal preference at 8OA and to get Cristall is a significant bonus. I have no problem with him at all even if he was picked 8OV, I wouldn't have complained. Getting both Leonard and Cristall in the draft is huge shock for me and great for this franchise going forward. In those Bedard mock draft clicks he kept showing up at 8OA consistently for the Caps, not that means anything. He's a great pick and I will be cheering for him.

Edit: I forgot to mention the fact he's already signed a ELC shows he wants to play and excited. I'm very happy!

If we had managed to get Michkov at 8 it would have been a legendary draft. But I got lots of love for Leonard, no complaints.
