Several Caps players mentioned in the most recent PDOcast. Praise for Jensen, Orlov and Fehérváry.
Especially if we can dump Carlson and make Orlov-Jensen the #1 pair.I really wonder what Jensen can get on the open market if he decides to bet on himself and go to the summer as UFA. Before this season he was incredibly under-the-radar but it seems like he’s getting more attention around the league now, so perhaps a big discount isn’t in the cards.
I still think it’s in Washington’s interest to sign Jensen even if it’s in the $5 million neighborhood. On top of his solid defense he has been adding more on the offensive side. The cap is going up and they don’t have RFAs that are due big raises. The money shouldn’t be an issue.

Depends on the term.
I don't want a 33-year old who relies on his skating on a long-term big money contract.
Any chance GMBM bites? I’m not sure he brings anything they already don’t have on hand but he is a body.
Pilon probably gets sent down. I recall liking NAK's energy in the past. He seems like the sort of player Lavi would play the shit out of.
I mean for what it's worth it's probably a great fit for Dowd and Hathaway's line.
Enough with the grinders and plodders. Unless the player is above average at creating offense and scoring goals I’m not interested.
It will probably take a lot of ++. It would be nice to know if the Cap's are in on rumors though. If they want to become competitive again, CMM++ for Patty Kane with an extension in place.
And he did.
Surprised Toronto gave up on him 10 games into the season though. They must have realized he just wasn't a good fit for them.
