I dunno, neither guy cheats the game (ahem Kuzy, Mantha). I know those two are always giving whatever they have, especially Oshie. Nick is a cooler head, but you know he’s worked his ass off to come back.

So it’s not like they’re stealing money. It’s more on BMac and Ted imho. You just don’t give big contracts to reward past performance in pro sports.
Look no further than the way the Wizards are run and you’ll understand everything….

Not that Orlov didn't eventually get a fair contract but I want to see him make bank after being dicked around by the organization during the Oates years.

Gonna miss Orlov, beautiful hip checks and skating. But, he's guaranteed to return at least a 1st + something pretty good so happy about that.

Also gonna miss Hath dickin people around. Probably a 2nd for him.

Although, they might be "held out" in order to entice potential buyers. There might not be any buyers.

Nothing says we can’t bring them back next season. If he wanted to test the free agent market, he has all the right to, but we have no choice but to trade him at this point.

If LA is prepared to move their first rounder for Orlov I'm not sure there would be a stronger primary asset to be had. Maybe take back Roy/Walker in the process.

Good fit too. LAK needs LD and can afford to move a RHD. And We need d contracts for next year. They could also throw in a prospect since their pool is so deep.

I posted in the main boards that I would be all over buffaloes first rounder as well. Definitely, we have to look for the highest pick we can get.

Id like to get Pulj
Id also like us to resign Hath in the off season
I love Orlov..... conflicted on this one.

Caps need a retool more than a rebuild during Ovi years.
Orlov might help us get Meier?
Lose Eller and id be ok if Oshie went too.

This will be the making of BMAC this next 6 months.

Oilers are a good fit too for both Orlov and Hath. Puljujarvi would probably have to come back but given recent reclamation projects in Strome/Milano I’d be okay with that. 1st, 2nd, Puljujarvi?

I'd take Puljujarvi back just to see if he's a fit in the remaining 20 games or whatever, but his QO of $3 million next year is too rich.

I could see them not qualifying him and then signing him to something cheaper though if he works out.
