Prior to the final 6-7 minutes in that second it's probably the closest I've seen this team come to looking like last year's Rangers. But they have got to finish some of their chances.

Hags sez, we stopped skating

there is no killer instinct

When you skate for a living, makes a person wonder why they would just stop. Are they tired? Do they figure they already did enough skating?

Actually, thought the Rangers should have had another goal in there somewhere.

First off, the play looked onsides to me.

Second off, who gives a ****? Iffy offsides plays happen all the time. Does that somehow absolve Lundqvist for not playing a good angle on the shot? He was very out of position.

We get it, Lundqvist should have made the save, no one sane is arguing against that. You've said it 8 times.

Bad goal by Hank, bad play by Stralman 2X on that play and bad play by Boyle at the blue line not getting the puck out.

Why is it every team in the NHL can sky the puck out of their zone except us???

Hank absolutely deserves to be bashed for that goal. If he's an elite Vezina worthy goalie than he must be better. He has not been the Hank that we know and love this series. To win in the playoffs your goalie has to make those saves, no matter how good or bad your team is. Stanley Cup winning teams have their goalies excel in the playoffs no matter how stacked they are or aren't.

Looked to me like they took their foot off the gas after 2-0.

Not at all! Did you see the shift right before the goal? A couple good saves and a post. What happened is we gave up a weak goal and the team's momentum just went down the toilet. That's the problem with this team is that if we lose momentum, we're in DEEP trouble.

It's honestly the same series though.

Game 1 was essentially a carbon copy of game 2 in '11, and vice versa.

Game 3 was exactly the same.

Game 4 is extremely similar.

These two teams are much, much closer than those were.

We're getting superstitious here

They just have to stay off the **** 5 on 5 PK, the second they get a lead, they go into hyperdefense mode, playing scared to blow it, and what do you know, they blow it... 1st goal not Hank's fault, but he had to have that second one, in the regular season, he probably would have had it.

This PP is going to be huge, score here, and play hard, and we win. Go back to game one/two style, and we are one game away from playing golf.

Unless torts get rid of collapsing defnse, we are going to see a lot of these goals

Did you even see the goal? It was right smack dab in the middle section of the net. Middle of the net towards Hank's right side. You're acting like it was the backhand shot Brass had on his first game, and it wasn't. It was a simple, not even that hard backhand that went into the right side, middle of the goal. Hank HAS to stop that.

What made it worse is he acted like he didn't even see it, when there was no sort of screen whatsoever. No deflection, no screen, and Hank was somehow blinded. Totally unacceptable.

LOL okay dude. You're right, backhanders are all poopy muffins that should be stopped. It was right side between middle and top, either way I'm not gonna argue on that because I dont give a ****, it was a tough shot.

outside of being blatantly at fault for the first goal?

I think Holtby is incredibly cocky and thinks he's entirely better than he actually is. He's made some good saves, but he's also had the benefit of some incredible luck that frankly the Rangers haven't.

Bad goal by Hank, bad play by Stralman 2X on that play and bad play by Boyle at the blue line not getting the puck out.

Why is it every team in the NHL can sky the puck out of their zone except us???

Wait, you mean you can flip the puck _over the heads of opposing players_ into the neutral zone!?!? Holy ****, someone text this to Torts, let him in on this big secret.

Had to step out a bit.. wtf 2-2..

Also is Zucc that bad tonight or have we spent the entire period on the PK

He played great, but got about 1 minute second period... Torts knows why..... I have no idea, and I don't think a lot of people do.
