GDT: Caps @ Rangers Part II

Thank you for bringing up something most of these 'fans' we have in here would never be able to understand. Most of them have never played goalie, let alone hockey itself judging by the way they comment on the game.

That was a hard shot to stop because you're moving laterally, and like you said, the puck is very hard to follow and the shot placement is unpredictable.

That play was offsides anyway. The linesman blew it.

Hey Rick Nash? This isn't October 15th, its the ****ing playoffs. The whole world is watching. When are you going to show up?

Also is Zucc that bad tonight or have we spent the entire period on the PK
 
People are still saying Holtby is a scrub? I'm sorry but that guy is the sole reason why Rangers haven't scored 4-5 goals.

First off, the play looked onsides to me.

Second off, who gives a ****? Iffy offsides plays happen all the time. Does that somehow absolve Lundqvist for not playing a good angle on the shot? He was very out of position.

Did you even see the goal? It was right smack dab in the middle section of the net. Middle of the net towards Hank's right side. You're acting like it was the backhand shot Brass had on his first game, and it wasn't. It was a simple, not even that hard backhand that went into the right side, middle of the goal. Hank HAS to stop that.

What made it worse is he acted like he didn't even see it, when there was no sort of screen whatsoever. No deflection, no screen, and Hank was somehow blinded. Totally unacceptable.
 
all that matters now is hank stops everything and his team picks him up and scores the go ahead goal. Hank has carried this team enough in his career time for the forwards to do the same and get him the win
