Shooting it directly into his chest certainly helps. But he's played okay.

Rangers aren't also chasing down rebounds. They have gotten plenty of chances but the Rangers are doing virtually nothing on secondary chances. Even if they do get to the rebounds, they make a lot of blind shots or weak wristers.

Anyone that thinks that was a "soft goal" is simply out of their minds. In that close, an elevated backhand on the blocker side to the top corner is almost impossible to stop. Want to blame someone? Blame the team that let that guy shoot from 5' in front of the net.

First off, the play looked onsides to me.

Second off, who gives a ****? Iffy offsides plays happen all the time. Does that somehow absolve Lundqvist for not playing a good angle on the shot? He was very out of position.

He was playing the angle perfect. He butterflied as the shot was taken, and it beat him clean high blocker. It happens. It's a difficult shot to stop.

LOL okay dude. You're right, backhanders are all poopy muffins that should be stopped. It was right side between middle and top, either way I'm not gonna argue on that because I dont give a ****, it was a tough shot.

Dude, he was out by the circles when he shot the puck. Hank should have had that. There is no defending that goal. And guess what? I'm sure Hank agrees with that.

He wasn't playing the perfect angle at all since he was cheating to his left since Ovechkin was over there. It was horrible positioning since Ovechkin was already covered.

Looked out of position to me. There was a lot of room between his right side and the right post. Couldn't tell if it was on or offside cause they decided to show the replay at 100 mph and at a bad angle

Kudos. I value people like you who actually play hockey (especially goalie) when they try to blame Hank on goals like that one.

If we lose, we can have this period to just shove our season up our ****ing ass. I will shove a ****ing bottle of hot sauce up my ass if we lose and go grocery shopping with it there to buy another bottle of hot sauce.

Gotta get Zucc and Brassard on the powerplay somehow, Moore at the point. They need to be with someone that can keep the puck along the boards though

When Rangers trail: "Henrik should ask for a trade. He gets no support"

When Rangers blow leads: "its not Henrik's fault the team sucks."

When a goalie is given a 2-0 lead at the midway point of a game, the onus is on him to make it stand. That means stopping breakaways, stopping deflections and stopping odd man rushes.

Guys like Hasek, Roy and even Fatso made a living doing that in the postseason.
