In the span of 30 seconds, Wilson did 3 separate things that could be worthy of a suspension:

1. Punch Buchnevich in the head (defenseless)
2. Pull Panarin by his hair and body-slam him into the ground, head first
3. Punch Panarin in the head afterwards (defenseless)
50 games each

Not to mention literally chocking buch with his stick as he’s falling to the ice. He is literally pulling up when his stick is on a players neck that is falling to the ice, and falls weight on his back. Pretty sure this is why buch goes limp.

He got pulled down, could have easily tweaked something on the way down.

It's also possible that the team saw that the season was over and just said "f*** it" and shut him down for the rest of the year (we know something has been bothering him.) Quinn mentioned that he was fine after the game yesterday. If it were any more serious than that, I'm sure we'd know.
Bread “You guys are a bunch of do nothing Beta cucks. Bye”.

I am glad you do not represent Rangers hockey in any way.. A little reactive,no?
I am quite satisfied with my conclusion based on seeing this stuff from Miller every night. Given enough time, he will become the forum's new focus of anger for how soft he is. He doesn't need to be a goon at all, but having a spine would be a nice thing.

I don’t even blame the team as much as I do Gorton. He put this team on the ice with Davidson’s approval. The two of them have blood on their hands for this. They did a brutal job this off-season addressing grit and sandpaper to the bottom six. You think the Isles would’ve allowed that to happen? Martin or Johnson would’ve beat their ***. Signed Jack Johnson, to do what I have no idea. Blackwell was his calling card signing and Quinn treats him like he’s the second coming of Mats Zuccarello.

Go down the list, Boston, Isles, TB, now Toronto, Montreal, Canes, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, St Louis, the entire pacific division, so on and so forth each have 4-5 guys that would have gone absolutely berserk.

And you have people on here that still can’t decipher between grit/sandpaper and goons. Boggles my mind. Last night won’t be the last time something like that happens. Maybe if we had guys to answer the bell and threaten guys would lay off a bit in concern of having one of their stars hurt or targeted.

Sean Avery types that can play and mix it up. The night Carcillo went after Gaborik, Avery made sure to threaten that team to a point where he said he would end Giroux. He also answered the bell. You need guys like that. Can’t have the youngest team in hockey and expect not to be abused nightly. Management welcomes it, and they obviously didn’t prioritize being a tougher team to play against nightly, whether it be with physicality or will.

i think we all know the plan is to develop kids and they did draft some tougher players yet i was asking why there isn’t somebody to police these kids. What a shocker a few Rangers were attacked. I’m sure veteran opponents would allow the Rangers to skate freely and keep it clean if they made playoffs. Afterall, it’s a different league right? Smh

Mason Geertsen come on down!

I wonder what Caps fans would think if right before the playoffs we knocked one of their key players out of the postseason. They’re working with a short bench as it is.

I think Cuylle and Schneider will help a lot in the grit department once they join the team. Those two are pretty tough sons of bitches

I also think some of the kids, once they get bigger and stronger will be more willing to get involved in scuffles (although probably will never be "tough" per se).

^^^^^ Totally agree, the way this team is assembled is third rate. It's like a slap in the face to the high end players on this team that they are not worth protecting. The third and fourth lines are probably the softest in the league not to mention our D. As far as Wilson is concerned, he is totally touch in the head but the league will do the least suspension possible because it has no backbone when it actually comes to protecting player safety. All talk and no action.

but it’s a different league i read. More finesse please.

Why police some teenagers, kids and a few stars when you can watch your lightweight investment being body slammed and the star center continues to hold onto his stick and break up a brawl with one hand? At least Buch got up to argue.

they’ll help yet i’d like a veteran so the world doesn’t land on the shoulders of two kids.

I'm morbidly curious as to what people actually want here.

Somebody picks Wilson up and breaks his neck? I'd enjoy it but when has any of this ever happened?

Colton Orr is full of shit. I f***ing WATCHED him do nothing on multiple occasions. His only role was fighting the other team's Colton Orr. He did nothing to stop good players who are assholes because we wouldn't dare put him on the ice with good players.

People are just mad we lose and as always, toughness is the security blanket.

To be fair (and it’s not hard to find on YouTube) Orr did knock out a few of Ovechkin’s teeth with a cross check to the face and it was deliberate.
