Oh lol then yes I agree! The list has some recency bias. Wasn’t talking about you.

I'd still find a way to get Seth Jones in there. He's a future Norris winner for sure and I mean within the next year or so.The list has some recency bias. Wasn’t talking about you.

It’s almost like someone else already just said this.I think people are using far too much recency bias to judge that Top 100 list when it comes to active players. Focusing too much on the last 2 or 3 years, and ignoring the past decade. They're forgetting when guys like Karlsson and Subban were at the top of their game.
The one name that stood out a bit to me was Mark Giordano. He obviously had a superlative 2018-19 campaign and has been good for a long time, but is he really top 100 of all time?
Naturally all Top 100 lists like that are going to be highly subjective and ultimately meaningless.
So I've already professed my love for the navy blue block W jersey that the Caps are supposedly looking at. (To the jeers of my fellow Caps fans lol)
But after seeing this with white shoulders, I'm loving this even more. It just looks sharp.
its awful
hmm... trying to read between the lines to figure out how you really feel....
I'd prefer to wait for him to actual accomplish that before naming him one of the best 100 ever. I have no doubt that Miro Heiskanen is also going to be a future Norris Winner, but it would be crazy to vote for him as one of the Top 100 at this point.I'd still find a way to get Seth Jones in there. Starting to believe we're not going to be making any trades. We're under the cap and if you were going to make a move you probably would've done it last week when there was FOMO from a bunch of teams who missed out on key UFAs
The Capitals have no remaining RFAs.I thought they might move Jensen for the cap space and think that could still come after some rfa signings happen. Past that I didnt see anything else

quite interesting.....feeds into my feeling that this team lost a lot (more) in the room with Trotz, Orpik, Beagle, etc gone...than even I realized.
I could be wrong but they didn't even make some of the moves until after the injury was announced, so it's not like they stumbled backwards into getting bailed out or anything. The only reason that the Caps don't have to make any moves at all is all due to Kempny's sudden surgery out of nowhere. The Caps are pretty fortunate (or unfortunate in Kempny's case) that it happened.

Likely no chance they sign Schultz if Kempny was healthy, so call that unlucky or lucky, I don't know which![]()
