I see a backup goalie playing a home game. probably a mistake. I see the slap shot at the end of that pp and the one at the end of the period were weak and back breakers. the turnover was bad by ov but that shot was stoppable.

we all wanted the caps to ditch the two goalie thing and get a backup goalie. th is the downside to that. backu goalies generally suck.

The refs were a huge part of the problem in the second, but that late goal did what they do, energized the Yotes abd the Caps fell apart.
