Grubauer eventually looked bad like everyone else. In the end they sent him back down before he got his confidence crushed. Smart move.

This is just.. strange.

Caps go up 3-1, then just seem to fall asleep, as if they don't really need a win. Coyotes seems to be go though the motions, more pretending than anything that they are trying to come back.. but since Caps are yawning, they somehow do come back.. Now the Caps really need to wake up.. and so they proceed to unravel, lol.

I mean.. new GM, new coach, and if you compare with BB "country club heydays", it's mostly new players, too. What else is there to really change? Ovi/Backstrom/Green/MJ/Laich?

I think they'll be alright and back on the right track once they overcome this bad stretch. But this combination of poor games, badly managed games, and bad luck -- is pretty wild right now..

Ovi is great in the ovi spot but he has to start working harder in the O zone in order to be more dangerous in other areas. I give him credit because he actually has played better defensively but man his hands are starting to resemble Chimera's and his skating has been at a hartnell down level for a while. And i am in no way saying they should strip him of the C, he just has to be better thats all

It's been officiating and goaltending. We can't control the officiating, but the goaltending can be improved. And that also lessens the impact of bad officiating.

Fix the goaltending ASAP

guys with the puck all the time lose it all the time unless they shoot it. as for nothing more. you have seen his body checks or no?

Come on Tex, the better players in the league can maintain a cycle, shield the puck, etc. OV is a turnover machine. He makes the occasional pretty play but someone's puck handling skills are defined by consistency. The body checks really don't amount to anything. If body checks were added to goals you might have a point.
