Did you watch the playoffs last year? The guy sucks. Not sure he's a NHL player he certainly did not look like one last year. If we try to improve the team let's imrpove it for real. Let's try to grab a 26-28 years old right handed defensive dman who can be a 3rd / 4th dman.

Let's not repeat the mistakes of MB and try to surround young players with the likes of end of career Douglas Murray ad Francis Bouillon. If we need help let's grab some real help not some guys we found at the salvation army. We already have those and we can't wait for them to be gone.
Stop gap.

He’d be here this year and part of next. I agree he’s not ideal. But at this point I’d rather take him and the pick rather than Barron, and Mailloux and/or Reinbacher are at least another year away.

He’d just be a placeholder.

He’s the easiest option to bring to for a physical player
He’s not the profile I’m talking about. I want a dirty, irritating player who’ll run at players. Tuck is a solid physical player but he’s not going to get the other team off their game or run players.

I understand what type of player you want and I agree but those type of player are usually not available by trade. Maybe as FA

Waive Armia and Dvorak. Call up couple from Laval. It adds energy to team, also Sends message to rest of players. Time for Hughes to take control of team. Was expecting much more out of Montreal this season.

Probably lose both but gain 8 million in caproom.

If Boston wants to trade vet/rfa and accumulare youth, with the way their season is going and where their team is trending overall,

I believe Frederic and Carlo should be prime target for us. Would be huge upgrade on Dvorak and Savard who are leaving soon. Younger, bigger, better and tougher. Much needed quality depth.

Wait for Frederic to become ufa this summer and put an offer on him.

Carlo, I would be good with depending on the price. Late 1st and B prospect?
