I'm a bit confused. I haven't really been following this but let me get this straight. The caps buy the site and shut it down? What do the Caps even get out of buying the site?
I highly doubt other teams need this site to do their job for them ...Denying their competition (other teams) the ability to use it until an adequate replacement exists.
They privatized it for their own internal use.I'm a bit confused. I haven't really been following this but let me get this straight. The caps buy the site and shut it down? What do the Caps even get out of buying the site?
Honestly you might as well use capwages.com instead of waiting for that to load. It's still available. Just a bit slow to load.

NHL teams are known to live in the stone age technologically.Kinda wild to me that every team doesn't have some type of coder/programmer to create a resource for them which is better than some random for-profit fan-made tool.
That I'm not sure about. Maybe PuckPedia? It took seconds for me to load to armchair gm.
Faster than this website many days
Is there an alternative That allows for future gm stuff ? Like the 25-26 cap friendly armchair used to?
GM Mode is still in the beta period but you can keep check capwages.com as they make more advancementsIt took seconds for me to load to armchair gm.

Probably not more than a rounding error in their books. How much did Caps paid for Capfriendly?
Makes me kind of mad because it'll be hard for me to do trade proposals now. Gonna upset more fanbases more than I originally did.
But that's just an archive of Capfriendly. It won't update on transactions, so what's the point of this? It's still available. Just a bit slow to load.
