I can’t wait….but I need to finish Discovery and Picard‘s most recent seasons first.

I have a feeling Strange New Worlds is going to be fantastic. i’ll let it queue up.

Haven't seen Discovery S3 yet or picard s2. Looks like Will Wheaton is doing some after show. On the Picard show it is surprisingly decent.

What’s up with all the Doctor strange hate? I thought it was awesome…

lazy writing. like, "hey, lets start walking and talk things out even though that crazy lady is still trying to chase and kill us". or how it goes from 1960's Disney to horror flick in less than 3 minutes. i was bored out of my mind

I def get that but I sort of enjoyed seeing new “characters” and the effects were awesome I thought. I was digging the darker/horror side of it, was a bit different. I think some kids could for sure have nightmares from this one lol

@usiel I just finished The Expanse finally…..I can’t say I loved how the story ended, but that’s some fine syfy content.

Bobbie is a badass.
Yeah was not a big fan of the ending either. Apparently it is different than the book series.

I would definitely be up for a follow series if it had Bobbie and Drummer kicking ass all over the solar system.

Judgy….what’s wrong with Marvel?

Yeah sorry shouldnt have been that "judgy".

There is just an oversaturation of Marvel. And none of it has been any good, since Endgame.
Personally I've tuned it out since then, can't understand why more people haven't also.

I mean, people are actually going to give this "Thor: Love and Thunder" nonsense a chance, when the last three Thor movies were so abysmally bad?

I dunno…..I grew up on comics….the content is near limitless….I don’t need my syfy content to do much.

I only disliked one Thor movie. I loved the latest Dr Strange.

Love and Thunder was a fan favorite issue from long ago (I still have 2 copies in my collection)….non-hardcore comic fans won’t appreciate it.

First two Thor movies are garbage. Thor: Ragnarok, on the other hand, is the best MCU movie by a long shot. And Love & Thunder is being directed by Taika Waititi again, and features a pretty star-studded cast.

Not sure why this is needed. I found him to be dull character in a movie that really wasn't needed. Hell, I never finished the movie. Quit when they got to Scarif, was just.....bored. Looked up what happened for the rest of the film

I guess I should preface this by saying I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but I've seen all the movies. I was kind of indifferent to Rogue One, but I will say that it had maybe the best third act of all the Star Wars flicks. The setup was pretty weak, but the ending and the ramp up to it was pretty stellar.

And since all the movies were lackluster after the first two (A New Hope and Empire are very good), all it takes is one really strong act to make Rogue One among the better of all the films.

I haven't seen any of the TV shows yet. Any of them worth watching for a lukewarm-at-best Star Wars fan?

Rogue One was my favorite of the non-Original Trilogy films, pretty easily. It was a nice portrait of the "Wars"-part of Star Wars, and did a good job of showing that Star Wars is often at its best when its not just about Jedi. Didn't have much thoughts on the Andor series, but this trailer has me cautiously excited. Showing the actual rebellion up-close (and not just from the perspective of the heroes who blew up the Death Star) and some real human interest regarding the Empire's oppressive rule is an area where it has potential to shine.

Give The Mandalorian a shot. There's plenty in Mando for hardcore Star Wars fans (especially in season 2), but it's also still an accessible story that appeals to casual fans. My step mother had never even seen the original trilogy, but she loved the Mandalorian she watched it with my father over the pandemic.

Book of Boba Fett is okay, but not as good as the Mandalorian (although it basically becomes The Mandalorian season 2.5 in the later half fo the season).

The new Obi Wan show just premiered today with its first two episodes. So still far too early to tell with that one.
