You bitch about trading hunter and you want to trade away the better prospect for Tanev? Or did I remember the wrong poster?
I bitched about trading a heavy price for a rental when we shouldn't

But since we already did that then might as well go all the f***ing way in and not half ass it right?

We probably need to trade away another guy on D first. Doesn’t make sense to trade away that much so we end up with the following.

Hughes - Tanev
Cole - Hronek
Soucy - Zadorov
Myers, Juulsen

2nd+ep the d for tanev

Just do it
Your love of Tanev is adorable but your trade suggestions are very poor.

Liam O Brien lol
I attend roughly 10 Coyotes games per year and I love watching O'brien. Old school beauty!

and yet he has played 22 minutes/game and every game this year. Like I said, all in to me means 3 dominant d and figure out Hronek in June.
This isn't 2020. Hard pass. Are you a Blues fan or something?

The price right now for Tanev, I’m told, is a second-round pick plus another asset,” reported LeBrun.

2025 2nd and Bains/McDonough/Karlsson level prospect?

I’d like to keep Lek, Willander, D. Petey, and Raty (as well as PodK and Hogs)

Well we know which players in Abby aren't on the trade block.

Rutherford has said the Canucks are done making really big trades, would love to get Tanev or Kovacevic for defense. Sammy Blais or Nick Bjugstad would be great candidates for the 4th line. We are not far away folks, this team with some more depth pieces could do damage in the playoffs.

Honestly feel like we have the pieces now, the only way the other teams get deeper than us is if they play the LTIR game and believe me I’m preparing myself for Eichel on LTIR until the playoffs
The league will do nothing about it

It’s not without regret that I have to inform you all that the Canucks team dog, Ryp, has passed away this afternoon.

I had wondered why they took Ryp out of their social media content. Wonder if the dog had been dealing with health issues for a while. Sad

Clearly the Canucks are in the market for another right shot d-man, but scanning the possibilities on Cap Friendly, there's precious little out there.

No wonder interest is picking up on Tanev.....but he's probably pricing himself out of Vancouver. Makes the drafting of Wilander and the trade for Hronek that must more vital. You just can't find good right-shot d-men out there.

Still, if anyone can find one even an unproven 'prospect', Allvin will find him.

Weren’t you just saying they shouldn’t be buying? The path to the Cup was too hard? And now you’re proposing a trade in which they…buy? With a bad offer to boot.

Do you know what you want?
Whats done is done, they've chosen to go this route so go all in f*** it

Hey! You’re the guy who was saying we shouldn’t buy !
Shouldn't of but we did, so no point half assing it

RIP Ryp.

Lindholm solidifies our top 6. Now it's time for Allvin's focus to turn to adding depth.

Currently, Karlsson is our 13th forward. I actually thought he looked fine in his limited showings, but not "next guy up" fine. And there's not a ton behind him in Abby that are ready to help out right now if needed.

Sounds like Podz' play makes him legitimate forward depth. Nearer the playoffs, he likely slots in before Karlsson in case of injury. But beyond that, who? Maybe Bains. Dries if healthy? Raty?

That's just too shallow. Need to add at least one forward. Even if it's just a waiver wire pick up that improves on Karlsson. But ideally a 4C that puts Aman in the pressbox when everyone is healthy.

I'm fine with Aman in the lineup. Good forechecker, good speed and length, utility as a PKer, utility at the dot. But 13th forwards usually see a significant number of games, so he needs to be capable of contributing. Having Aman in that role makes me much more comfortable.

Depth on the blueline also makes sense. We have 7 I'm comfortable with, amd Friedman is fine. But then who? Irwin and Cicek I guess?Johansen and McWard for righties? Wolanin maybe an option, but doesn't seem to be having a good season.

In a cap world, you can never address everything. We've got just under $1.9m to spend without removing any peices with a 22 man roster. Sure, a top 4 RHD would be great, but requires a bunch of moving pieces (assuming we aren't trading Cole, Zadorov, or Myers). Think it's more likely we add depth.

Adding a piece to push Aman to 13th forward is imo our top need now. Ideally a gritty, veteran 4C. Next would be a 5LD.

Have to think there's at least 1 more addition cooking up in that Swedish chef's kitchen.

No hate, I respect him for making the nhl and doing what he has to. I’m sure he’s a good teammate too He’s just not good at nhl hockey.
In all honesty I had no idea he was so anemic offensively. It’s kind of impressive. But when we played the Yotes last time I really liked his game.
