So according to boeser himself talking about how he wasn't in lineup, and only in lineup because of another injury doesn't mean he was benched? There has been other times he didn't play and benched by Bruce. Stip lying because fakenews , make belief, trolling people like you are tiring

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">“It was a very important game for me and my family, so when I came in this morning and my name wasn’t on the white board it hurt - it hurt bad,” says Brock Boeser of being an almost healthy scratch on Hockey Fights Cancer night. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Canucks?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc^tfw">#Canucks</a></p>&mdash; Thomas Drance (@ThomasDrance) <a href="">December 4, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I thought he was coming along? And aren’t the Nucks rooting for this guy?

Why does he want out?
Nobody really knows. We do know the lockerroom is plagued by cliques but nobody really knows who is on what side. It seems like Boeser isn't quite fitting in with the team though.

I thought JT Miller was the issue… or was that all rumor?

You're correct, that was the thought before. It may still be but just reading body language on the ice he and the Bo (the two rumoured "sides") seem to be cool. It feels like Miller is just that kind of personality, rather than him being an actual problem in the room.

But again, it could be Miller all along. We just don't know. I wish the front office would take some initiative and deal with it already, though.

Miller does seem to just be an abrasive personality. Maybe just rubs guys the wrong way, but nothing concrete to say he’s tanking the team with it.

I would think Brock would like to be closer to his Family after all the stuff that has happened in the last year so maybe Winnipeg is a good fit for him?
could be a nice fit. Jets need a RW that can produce pretty urgently, and half the locker room are minnesota guys

It feels like there's been "rift" talk about the Canucks locker room off and on going all the way back to when the Sedins were still here in their finals years. It's been pinned on all sorts of different guys over the years, with all manner of different imagined "battle lines" drawn speculatively by the fans. Young guys vs Old. Bo vs Pettersson. Miller vs Bo. Everyone vs Virtanen. Upset over Tanev and Markstrom not being re-signed. Sutter vs Pettersson and Hughes. Gaudette vs his Wife's face. Hamonic vs the Vaccine. Garland has a toxic attitude. Edler vs Coach Green. Juolevi's laziness drawing everyone's ire. Beagle and Eriksson freeloading. Gudbranson and the cool kids was in there somewhere. Ughhhh...i'm probably missing a dozen more speculative conflicts and rifts.

Alleged culprits come and go, the perceived rifts shift constantly in the minds of fans and media, and we never really get any concrete evidence of exactly what's going on. Nor does management ever seem to do anything that "resolves" the apparently perpetual conflict amongst the team in fan's eyes.

But yeah...we really just don't have a clue. It's not even clear that their are these perceived deep divisions among the team. The one constant through all these years and different players and alleged "rifts" though, has been a team that from the outside at least...certainly seems very emotionally "volatile". Prone to some kind of weird bipolar sort of motivation and quality of play. That leads fans and media to continue fanning the flames of speculation about what's really going on. But it's also entirely possible that it's all just fabricated melodrama. :dunno:

Winnipeg could definitely be a fit. Biggest challenge i see there, is figuring out what is coming the other way to make the salary fit this year? I could be mistaken, but when Ehlers comes back, they wouldn't have the room to carry Boeser's salary without sending a decent chunk to Vancouver.

But i don't really see an obvious fit in terms of that $3-4M+ sort of salary that makes sense to move to Vancouver in a deal.

I basically read this as…. Boeser told he was scratched on Hockey saves Cancer night… already bumped to PP2 with emergence of Kuzmenko and to the bottom 6 with the speed and defensive prowess of Mikheyev in the top 6…. Agent asks for trade, Alvin laughs and says we’ve tried, no one wants him… go ahead and find a fit and let me know when you do….. Which is why the agent won’t comment… They’re embarrassed af. Just another bad situation in Vancouver, in other news the sky still blue.

Green benched him the first two games of his career. Fact.

I have to wonder what Boeser can discuss with other teams.... he has a contract and doesn't seem in high demand. It's not like a pending RFA/UFA that a team plans on re-signing if traded for, and wants to get a feel for a players expectations.

I mean, I get it can be reassuring for an acquiring GM to talk to a player to see what went wrong and if they can get their act together, but still.... this usually means a guy is untradable.

If you're a team that straight up lacks talent in your top 6, Boeser can help.

There are many holes in his game but there's no denying he has the overall offensive ability and IQ to produce. This season might be his worst from an eye test perspective but he's still on a 65 point pace which is also exactly his career per 82 pace. Players that can consistently put up these numbers don't exactly grow on trees.

Difference is this year he's been a liability away from the puck, whereas in previous years he's been fine. I believe his underlying numbers have been pretty strong throughout his career (someone can correct me if I'm wrong here, or elaborate further).

The Canucks are just have too many forwards that are dumb and bad in the defensive zone. He'd fit fine on a team with better overall structure that can use more of an offensive punch. He's not a play driver but can support a good center.

the agent can find a trade partner but Rutherford needs to like the return .

I'd be interested in the isles aquiring him with the hope that a change of system / scenery motivates him
