Sharks kinda suck.
True but these games can be bloody dangerous. Canucks are in no position to be taking anyone lightly. We saw how they did against Buffalo and Detroit last season, including that one loss to Ottawa down the stretch. Nucks are up 1-0 here but San Jose are still very much in this. We need to buckle down and put these guys away.

Seems to me as though the key to getting Hoglander going, is just...put him with Horvat.

Ergo, if we can't manage to keep Horvat. We may as well just trade Hoglander as well.
What I meant is that Hoglander is simplifying things. Focus on facilitating possession and funneling things into the slot. Play a support role in his own end to clear the zone. He's now an actual useful linemate.

Also doesn't hurt to be on the wing of the league's #2 goal scorer as you mentioned.

I think I know why they call this rink "the shark tank". It's like looking into an aquarium from a step ladder. I can't tell if I appreciate the perspective, or if I hate it. lol

I'm stunned!

No Friedman or Dhaliwal rumours lately of there being a lockerroom rift and "cliques" in the dressing room. No stories of Miller and Horvat throwing spinning heel kicks at one another. Haven't heard much from "Canuck community stalwarts" such as Buck Foston, Uncle Laleet, and Taj on twitter. JD Burke, where you at? How are these guys any different from trolls from Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto?

Anyways, regardless, Canucks need to buckle down here and put the Sharks away. These types of games can be dangerous (i.e. playing lightly against a weak team).

-edit: Sharks just scored. 1-1. Keep focused Nucks!

100%, pretty sure vegas was leading the sharks the other week, because the sharks are so bad but there full of plugs that dont quit, vegas sat back and lost that game pretty bad, think sharks scored 4 or more goals after, cant recall off the top of my head.

And vans in no position to take periods off.

I mean, it's kind of always been like this. I'm not sure what it is, but it seems like basically going back through his whole career, he generally only looks good, and plays that "simpler" game facilitating possession...when he's playing with Horvat. Even when Horvat isn't on a crazy hot streak. It's weird.

Agreed. If Nucks aren't careful they're going to lose this one. Sharks are already outplaying them.
