1) Team has bad 30 games after winning 5 straight division titles. GM wins (huge) two trades involving goalies.

2) New management bungles timing on fully deserved firing of totally lost head coach.

Meanwhile, total crickets on 8 years of the worst management regime in the last 50 years of this league.

I've been consistently critical of this organization for like 7 or 8 years. I wish I could say it was longer but I gave the previous management a couple years.

I've been extremely critical about this roster this year, the direction of the team. Critical of how JR handled the Bruce situation.

I've said that it's very likely Tocchet won't have success here because of a poor roster and because I don't know if he's a good coach.

But what I won't do is rip a coach for a gambling thing from decades ago that is a complete zero. And more than that, rip him because of some weird infatuation with a previous coach who deserved to be fired.

I have zero issues with bruce being let go. It was a classless method but I expect nothing less from Aqua down

There is nothing to suggest Tocchet is qualified to take this team to a higher level. He has zero coaching pedigree

Again, for the thousandth time, because some things are BIGGER than hockey. You can argue about how easy our media went on management for hockey stuff but it's pretty clear why things are intense right now. It's not all about hockey. People here take hockey things disturbingly personally and that's not the way it works on the outside.
