I'm glad JJ is giving Beaulieu free rein to rush..as long as someone covers why not have the dman enter the play when he thinks he can contribute offensively. It's always been a strength of NB's game and he loves to do it....utilize the players' strengths.

The fact that all of our forwards other than Sestito, Kassian, and Higgins are slumping should say something.

True, but also Bournival was playing 2nd/3rd line. Moen is a better hockey player but Weise is so much faster that I think he compliments White and Bournival well.

He's got quicker feet, not sure if there's more effort. Moen has been playing quite well this year. No lazing like last season.

We have like 7 regulars injured, so it's definitely a big reason.

Also with the coaching drama with sullivan for awhile, and just poor play overall, it's not been good.

Those injuries on D hurt a lot.

I'll admit that after Whites suspension and his stupid plays last season I thought his time with the Habs would be over.. Nice to see him playing well and contributing to the team..

We haven't seen Weise's effectiveness on the PK and in a shutdown role where Moen "excels" but Weise do seem to have alot more stickhandling/shooting skills which is not saying much.
