They can still finish with 99 points, and the NHL leading Ducks have 76, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Unless I'm missing the sarcasm, no, it doesn't.

Theoretically speaking, the Sabres could win out the remainder of the season and finish with 99 points (I believe).
