Well he gave a short list to the teams he's willing to play for. Winnipeg clearly not being one of them. It's in that regard I'm comparing them. I realize Dubois has earned that right however.

No nothing like that has been said. There are no bullet points. The only thing we know is that some teams haven't got confirmation yet on their meetings with Michkov. Nor do we know which teams those may be.

It's nothing more than gossip at this point. Just more noise to fuel confusion.

Let's face it Michkov is the most intriguing storyline going into the draft.

Everyone is just running with it.

-Friedman said some teams haven't received confirmation that they will be able to talk with Michkov before the draft.
-Some teams went to Russia to try to talk with Michkov, but it wasn't easy to get to talk to him. Friedman said maybe Michkov wasn't interested.

Then Friedman said that people are wondering if Michkov has a preference. If he has a team or teams he wants to go to, and trying to maneuver it so that happens. He also added it that is premature since there are still a lot of days left until the draft.

That list will make lots here happy. If Leonard is top line material then I will feel better about him, though I'm not seeing why we wouldn't take Smith if hes available. And of course there is the ever more confounding case of Michkov.

I'm sorry but there was no revelation at all today, nothing that was said has been confirmed. If anything it's done the opposite, It's made the waters murkier.

Michkov was never going to be a simple choice for external reasons to begin with.

It's only simple from a strictly hockey sense IMO.

Simple enough for me anyway.

Ovechkin and Malkin have both been up front that if they ever played for another team it would be MTL. I think Malkin said MTL or Rangers. Maybe we're on Michkovs list and it's just the teams like Arizona and CLB he's hoping to dissuade.
