I don’t often take exception with things you write but that is one of the most disingenuous statements I’ve read on this forum.

Contributors here try their damnest to be genuine and some are very passionate about their stances and opinions. That doesn’t make them liars or inventors of facts.

The facts are the facts — some might try to present them in a different way to support an argument but to claim that everyone on this forum makes up stuff is just plain wrong.

People make mistakes but in general, they’re not out to get anyone. There is absolutely nothing to be gained by making up facts and souring someone else’s experience as a result.

If you believe that everyone is intentionally out to fool others with lies, why spend time here?

Not everyone, but Belial often post things that are easily proven to be false.

I don't think he has any bad intentions, he just believes things that are false because it "helps" reinforce his opinions. He's not one to change his mind when put in front of information that opposite his takes.

Can you define tantrum because I wasn't there to witness it. I never brought it up another did. Perhaps you should ask him. All i'm saying is if his tantrum was directed towards his teammates for not pulling thier weight I have no issue with his displeasure.

Could he have perhaps not let his emotion get in the way of conveying this message, sure, but as I said I dunno the context of which this occured. I am however aware that despite they're being better ways to express yourself in certain situations, that emotion can get the better of oneself, especially when it comes from being a teenager.

Perhaps his hate for losing and competetive nature got the better of him? I dunno, as I said I don't know what this tantrum was about.

I do know I've seen coaches throw tantrums and they're full grown men who's job description is to lead.

Yup, his prefrontal cortex (social inhibitions, among others) is just now starting to fully develop. It started like a year ago at max (17 years old) and will continue developing till he's around 25-30 years old.

This place is getting really bizarre. I have no problem taking Michkov if our brass determines he's worthy of an early pick after doing their extreme due diligence and leveraging their many connections to Michkov and his KHL teams via Bobrov as well as considering the geopolitical situation. Not to mention they also have to be convinced his hockey package is worth it.

I pay a silly amount of $ to scouting sources throughout the season to read up on the prospects. Several have him ranked at #2. Several have him ranked at #4-5. Everyone likes his offensive acumen. Some have concerns that his skills have stagnated and whether his game will translate to the NHL.

The new allegations of him being a team cancer may be complete BS...who knows? I'm not worried about it as thankfully Habs brass has that insight close to the situation (which none of us in here have). Habs brass has the most on the line and one thing Hughes has shown is that he is extremely thorough and checks under every single stone he can for information.

It is absolutely outrageous however to read some on this board pounding on the table for us to take him at all costs (even if the allegations are true along with all the other uncertainty). That's just screwed up in the head and bizarre cult-like behaviour.

Although not ''a cancer in the room'' it's been stated multiple times but multiple people and well before this year that Michkov is kind of a A-hole or and I quote ''not the nicest person'' apparently, although it doesn't seems like it's THAT much of a problem.

The preponderance of ‘reports’ lean toward the “good kid, very competitive, not a problem” side of things.

I take umbrage with people trying to force a perspective on a topic that will always be open and never be settled.

I have very strong criticism of Slafkovsky as the 1OA. I didn’t try to character assassinate him to justify my hockey opinion. I hope people will do the same with Michkov or whoever they tilt against. It just ruins the discourse to make things personal against hockey prospects. We have long past the point where the young man’s father’s tragic death was used as a mark against him. It’s not right.

Teenagers get emotional, especially in a competitive situation. It certainly shouldn't be deal breaking. We've all been there. It's not some stain on his character in my opinion.

No worries. I'm busy as well but just curious as I haven't seen a legit report regarding attitude issues all season (not sure if this latest Russian report has any credibility). I have read reports about poor effort in the MHL but never anything about being a bad teammate.
