Reporters trying to put Reinbacher in our mouth as 5 to be fine are the same that changed their opinions when habs drafted Armia son's last year with the first OA saying his potential was bigger than me , Margot robbie and Megan Fox roleplaying as college students while looking at me.

What is so complicated to pick a BPA jesus Christ they are paid millions to pick the dumbest solutions when the simplest one is literally in front of them.

For fun, considering we are all galaxy braining this thing because we have nothing else to talk about;

How fun would it be to trade the 5th OV for Logan Cooley? It would guarantee a floor and evacuate unknowns. I’d do it, considering Cooley pushed back his NHL career another year. I’d add if needed to sweeten the pot.

Our media and fans likes to dwell on things. I agree, take BPA and that is one of Fantilli, Michkov, Carlsson, and Smith. Then there is a drop in waive of talent. Reaching on someone other than these 4 is very close to the Kotkaniemi pick.

And fans shitting on a player they’ve clearly never watched play is a classic of draft time.

I don’t see the Habs doing that. Cooley never seemed to be one of their choices.

I do think Cooley will be a good one though but imagine the extra pressure on their golden boy Slafkovsky.

You could say even Slaf

I love middle 6 players when we pick 1st and 5th.

It's like would you rather have a Lamborghini or a big mysteries box that could hold even hold a Lamborghini.

W e rather take a guess with the box over and over and it never pay offs

Screw getting a player like Mattchew Kachook.

We need a Mark Stone!

EDIT: 5ft9 smurf Jonathan Marchessault is playoffs MVP.... DRAFT Benson!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got already RHP ! Same type of player.

I think the choice between having gone Nemec last year and Michkov this year is a lot better than coming away with Slaf and Reinbacher, but that's just me.
No way Reinbacher will be Habs pick at #5.

If Smith is gone, after his performance at the U18s, I can’t see Hughes, who was there, passing on Leonard. As one pundit aptly put it, there are some players who help you get to the playoffs and there are some who help you win in the playoffs. Leonard is the latter.

And Cristall looks like he would have been best friends with Jeff Spicoli at Ridgemont High.
After his tepid performance at the U18s, where he was a step behind the elite players, Cristall should not be consideration at either 31 or 37 for Montreal. There are a lot of intriguing players who will be available between 20 and 40 OA. Cristall is not one of them.

- Habs apparently everything they can to move up to 4, probably for Smith
- Michkov: they won't touch
- Leonard: The popular choice
- Reinbacher : It's a medias thing, won't go high
- Dvorsky could be a dark horse

San Jose could easily do that.... Swap #4 for #5 + some good young Habs prospect (s). They are in total reconstruction. I don't think it matters much for them to draft Smith or Michkov.

It’s a bit strange if they really do move up to pick Smith.

What if...

Habs move to 4, Leonard falls to 7-8 and they somehow swing for another pick to pick him up?

Just dreaming but still :')
