How does a poster say I'm 80% sure Columbus picks Carlsson over Smith and 70% sure Grier takes Michkov over Smith?

It's just putting a number on one's sense of the chances.

While I agree with the player choices, the numbers are uber subjective.

At the moment it's lookong like that's as good a projection as any for when Michkov will arrive. assuming the reports are true that there's a high probability that PLD will be a Hab, any projection with him innthe lineup is more probable than any projection without him in it... of course the actual lineup in the future will probably be different. But nice to see that the baseline projection has a lot of size outside of Michkov and Caufield.

I'm warming up to the idea, but still hoping we can use our deep prispect pool and or late 1st to trade up and get one of Carlsson or Michkov. Though SJ and Columbus both might not want to do that.

If we pick Smith, he could be really good with Suzuki and Caufield. Then we have a power line of Slaf-Dach-Dubois:

Caufiled - Suzuki - Smith
Slaf - Dach - Dubois

He's not my favorite and he's not in the same tier then the top 4 for me but I can't say I would't be satisfied with him. Good chance he become our #1 player in PTS.

No not at all, I'm pretty confident he's gonna be a good player. I just don't think he's gonna be the player you want to build your team around, but more the #2-3 of your team.

Absolutely. He'd bring high end dynamic playmaking which is something we lack in our top 6.

It’s good because we already have other players to pair him with. He won’t be alone and the only player asked to produce. He will bring our offense to another level.

I come to two names.
David Reinbacher & Matthew Wood.

Reinbacher point production in the Swiss league for a draft eligible is unheard of. That's special production. We see on the ice the tools match.

Matthew Wood, we know the feet, but everything else is special. One of the best u17 seasons in BCHL history. One of the best u18 seasons in the NCAA. One of the best U18s for Canada.

I'd say the 3rd would be Dvorsky, more for what he did as a D-1. But his production in the J20 was also pretty substantial. The allsvenskan numbers are what casts doubt and puts him at the 3 spot of the group.

Yes, if Michkov is off the board. There are others that I like as much as Smith as well, as long as we shoot for upside which imo includes Dvorsky even though there are other posters who have their doubts.
