Pacioretty has led our team in points like 5 straight years, for proven veterans pre-season means **** all. For a young guy like Galchenyuk who finished last year awful he has more to prove in pre-season. These are still meaningless games, and I care more about how he looks to start the regular season but it is disappointing to see him playing a lot like how he finished last year.

What does Danault have to do with Galchenyuk? Every time Galchenyuk gets criticized some people feel the need to point the finger at another player to shift the blame away.

He started the last 2 months last season great and then when he came back he was awful, Danault was a guy who was supposed to be a bottom six player for us last year while Galchenyuk was a guy who started the year as a #1 C.

You might have noticed Danault playing 1C last year while Chucky was moved to the wing, THAT MIGHT be why there is a comparison, only people being wilfully ignorant can see it otherwise. Danault ONLY got the chance because DD and chucky got injured.
