He played mostly on 3rd line last year in the winnipegs stacked forward group.
Was 8th most used forward in the team, played pk and pp, had one of the best posession stats in the team, but in montreal he's barely a fourthliner..
That’s right ! How’s his goal scoring? 12 g career high?
And now he’s playing first line?
Yes only in Montreal. He’s a bottom six player.
Or did you miss the point that he was drafted 7 years ago
He’s never turned out. Accept it

How are people blaming Juulsen on the pp goal when Alzner closes the gap on Duchene but still lets the puck get to the front of the net to Stone and then Peca is on Stones lap and doesn't even get stick to stick on the pass, so soft. All while Juulsen is trying to cover the backdoor and front door play, and come up with Juulsen aint ready lol

He has been awful since the AHL players have not been playing for other teams. He is totally invisible and often steps behind the play.
Agreed
As the competition stiffened he has not been effective. Maybe there is a reason he has not penetrated an NHL lineup and is already 25.
Best AHL season I think he had 46 points. WAYYYYY overhyped

I was a little worried with our preseason success the tank might be off but seeing Benn amongst our TOI leaders today I know we are still on track

meh pre-season ultimately means nothing. Remember when Colorado went undefeated in the pre-season and then had that 46 point season or whatever it was?

He isn't ready, but not because of THAT play.. because of his play in general. Hes trying to stick instead of trying to shine. Or our blueline wasnt so mediocre it wouldn't even be a question... he would start in the AHL

Yes. But Montreal propably hasn't got even one forward in the team who would play in winnipegs top six.
Armia has 2 full seasons on the Nhl amd has been used in a shutdownrole because he's good defensively and because winnipegs top six is stacked.
So give the guy a chance in a new environment.

Lol Juulsen is being hung out to dry by his teamates. This isn't a Juulsen problem.
That’s how you ruin young players, you set them up for failure which is the point of many on here....he needs to be in Laval away from this mess

He’s not a top 6 player. Not even close.
He’s a good checker. Good for the bottom 6
Top 6 is where the skill plays. Since we have very little he plays there by default. Like Danault who is not a 2nd line centre

Everyone hate Eller and want traded him when is a Habs and now everyone love him?

Bipolar HF's users hahahaha

nah, we just prefer him to Shaw.

But most of us just would have traded Eller for two 2nds and just stuck with the 2nds over taking Eller back over Shaw.
