No one cares
imagine being a season ticket holder lol. Worse yet, trying to market these home games to the fans
Despite the losing, I think there is a sense of optimism from the crowds at the Bell Center, plenty of young players on the roster, feel-good stories like Xhekaj and more recently RHP, Caufield on pace for 40 and lots more. There are no guarantees in hockey but for some reason, I feel that this group will be good in a couple of years. Many of them starting out their NHL careers together while getting their fair share of playing time, that in itself is something we haven't seen from a management group and a coaching staff for as long as I can remember. The future might finally be bright.

I'm telling you, I'm jumping on my indoor bike right now to be ready for the special Habs conscription. I should be drafted just before the dogs and cats.

More seriously, this is quite a crazy situation and I'm ready to bet that it's sadly not over.

Cool experience for Beck though. Looking forward to see him play.

Not sure if asked but I’m not a huge fan of the call up. Hypothetically could he have been called up to Laval and Montreal bring someone else up from Laval?

Now that they've confirmed they have another midget to replace Caufield and score goals (RHP), are they planning on moving Dach back to RW in the hopes of jump starting SuzSuzuki
What is even the point of this post?
What the f*** are you so unhappy about lol what does any of this have to do with Suzuki
Why? Just bring in a warm body, good grief.
He..is a warm body? Again like what's the point of this post? You want to see Nate Schnarr instead...?

Cole is gone the rest of the year, there's not much left to pay for this year that's all. Dach fighting isn't the biggest draw lol

I guess this is what a rebuild looks like. We are tired of no mans land and this is the way out of it. The arena fans aren’t booing or throwing jerseys on the ice and seem to be on board with it. Oh and by the way, see you in the next gdt. Cheers.

Well said. We get to watch them grow throughout the years. It's just fun to see homegrown talent. It's easy to root for these guys.

Wouldn’t want to pay full price tickets, but would love to see Xhekaj and Harris and Barron and Dach and Suzuki live…

Worry not, that optimism will turn to instant rage if Habs don’t get to draft Bedard…

Can someone without rose colored glasses give me an honest scouting report of his play please ? It seems he slowed down quite a bit after his trade and he didn’t make the WjC squad (although he did join them as an injury replacement)

I’m just worried we are hyping him way too much - I hope I’m wrong.

Thanks
He’s 18. What do you expect?

Lars Eller 2.0?

Above average individual skills, good defensive awareness and effort, good faceoff man, not a top playmaker.

I project him to useful to a winning team in the bottom 5. Ideally we have an elite 3C who can play 2C if there are injuries, and I don't think Beck makes it to that level.
That’s quite the contradiction, as that’s exactly who Lars Eller is.

I like the comparison actually, I was thinking John Madden

I hope they play him at least 10 minutes a game, otherwise I'll switch channel.

I wouldn't pay a dime to watch Harris play, he does nothing for me at all. Arbs is fun when he's punching the snot out of someone, Dach is showing up from time to time now.. but yeah I get your point. For me Cole was worth the ticket price, love watching that one timer.

I have no idea what Habs are seeing in Harris.

Habs are developing their players in the big leagues. Me too I can't remember last time I saw an NHL club develop their players like this.

Very unique and hope it bears lots of good fruits

What I really hope is that he gets a lot of playing time and is not sheltered on the fourth line and only gets 5-8 minutes. Play him 12-15 minutes and give him PP2 ice time. Let him run wild and have the experience of a lifetime.
