IN fact tonight he is the most used center and he spend more time in the defensive zone then offensive zone cause the line doesn't have the overall skills to establish itself in the o zone.

At least Fleishman and Semin used to be 2nd line player. Eller and Weise are good 3rd line player.

But for *** sake Flynn. People expect a young player to carry brian Flynn while being the most used center. You guys are not realistic. AG is not McDavid or Crosby.

not even sure McDavid could carry Flynn. Like Pouliot or not he is a skilled player same for Yakupov.

The only reason Elller was on thee RW that make sense is because Therrien wanted more shots from Semin on the LW. Now with Flynn on the line it makes no sense.

But why put players on the off wing it's harder to control puck in d zone. Has nothing to do with which side your playing for shooting pucks. It's all in the head, Semin is a pass first type of player. His first instinct is to pass the puck...

Exactly, you then drop Pleks down as a second line C with Chucky or Eller as 3(one will have to go) and leave the 4th line as is. We need that because we have every other piece in place but we really need that big number one center.

Coach needs to keep it simple. You need a passer, a shooter and a grinder type per line(of course, as you go up the grinder needs more skill)

The 1st and 3rd line works because they have that element.

The 2nd line has Eller, good, Galchenyuk, good but Semin isn't quite the sniper we need.

Way better than Flynn obviously but you can mix and match DSP, Flynn, Byron and whoever else you want on the RW. That line needs a skilled player who is executing. Semin may be getting more flack that he deserves but the results aren't there regardless. We need skill on that line or they will be completely ineffective.
