GDT: Canada vs USA

The Refs did not cause Canada to score 6 unanswered goals, when they were down 2-0. Team USA played well, but they were not robbed by any means. Those 2 disallowed goals were the correct calls under IIHF rules. Good luck in the Bronze Medal Game to USA, but enough of how the Refs gave Canada the win. USA defensive breakdowns 5 on 5 that resulted in Canadian goals were not due to the Refs.

Can't win if you only show up for 20 minutes.

Canada sucks at baseball though?
Canada isn’t bad at baseball. It’s just a sport where you need a ton of development and minor baseball in Canada is mostly just for fun. Not being able to play year round also hurts, and it competes with soccer (a much more accessible sport) for summer talent.

I didn’t watch the game but bad calls are a part of sports. It’s tough to complain about them while losing 6-2. Even if the calls had a direct impact or changed momentum

90% of craft beer people pretend to like.

I’m a big craft beer guy and the US is simply more advanced but they also had a head start.

Why would you drink something that tastes like warm urine (from what I’ve been told) when there are other options out there?

Some hot summer days, all I want is watery lousy beer. I get my neighbour to give me a few Buds. Actually and I am not kidding, sometimes it's good to have something just about halfway between water and real beer.

The old joke, "How is Coors light like making love in a canoe?"

"It's almost f***ing water!"

I’ll drink a Corona or three at the cottage but why restrict yourself to one beer or one style with the sheer range of what is out there?

Also, when you travel, it can be fun to try out what is being made wherever you go.

To each their own, certainly, I just think people are missing out if they aren’t trying some of what is available because “my Dad drank MGD so goddamnit I’m gonna too”.

every country makes beer. it's impossible to say which is best. its more like its what you KNOW.
dont worry Canada makes good beer too. If I want to wash down some food US beer works well for that and you wont get drunk unless you drink 12 MAYBE!.
