Let Canada have this..It's all they have

The goalie bumped into him, in the crease.

You know what the blue paint means right?

So you're telling me if a goalie is hugging the post and a player plants himself in the crease and the goalie bumps into him sliding across that it's the goalies fault?
Literally have seen plenty of goals just like it in the WJC already it didn't impeded the goalie at all that's the point.

Don’t act like the Czech won some huge game against Canada. It was the first game of the tournament. And don’t act like Sweden isn’t a shell of what they were last year. That weak Fin team scored as many goals against Sweden as the Czechs managed to and that weak Slovakian team took Canada to OT.

USA was a very young team with very few returning players. I’m taking Logan Cooley over anybody on Czechia and everybody but Bedard.
Well Czechia won against the exact same team with 5-2. The US lost with 6-2.
What did Sweden win last year btw? If there were any team that weren't a shell of their team last year it was Finland. The only respected team Cooley and the boys managed to win against lmao. You guys lost against Slovakia, remember? You scored 11 goals and got a lot of points against... Germany.

I guess your biased, go ahead. Good night and well played.

I'm a Team Canada fan but it was a pretty even game and that disallowed goal was absolutely the turning point.

Refs are deciding games again! We still may have won but can't say for sure with how momentum and frustration shifts on a bad call.
The ref did call it correctly according to the IIHF rules. I actually don't think it was the correct call in spirit, because the USA player WAS pushed. But technically, the IIHF rule book was adhered to on the play.
Not the way that I would want the rule constructed, and I don't like the fact that the USA goal was overturned.

That's just me and my view of how hockey should work. It means squat.

They called it by the book. Is it soft? Yes, and it was soft when it's been used against us too.

People whining because they don't know the rules with the IIHF is embarrassing.

You beat a Canadian team that wasn’t taking that game seriously. Then you beat a Swedish team that only beat Germany 1-0 (a team USA scored 11 on). You also lost to that Swedish team.

I hope you beat Canada in the finals but don’t kid yourself. There isn’t a Jiricek is the only player on the Czech team you could say has had a bigger impact than Cooley.

Game came down to Canada having a much better goalie and having more poise in shot taking.

The amount of American shots right into the glove and pads was incredible
Snuggerud took a lot of stupid shots didn't help that someone passed it to him in that area after not taking the shot in a prime area....also on the PP he took a horrible shot hoping for a rebound when the pass was defintely there.
