Once they started playing the right way and getting back to basics they played well. Finland is up and everyone is good from here on in, they need to keep playing this way going forward.

Great to see Byfield have a night he needed because we sure as hell need him, he will feel a lot better about his game after tonight.

Is Gord Miller drunk?

Seems he and Ray are trying to keep some level of interest in what they are doing tonight in another landslide, even if it is for their own entertainment.

I think the lack of preparation accentuates the difference. Normally there's another two weeks available to teach kids how to play garbage hockey in order to lose by fewer goals.

Eh, circumstances keeping some of these guys from playing meaningful games for so long is going to make some of the players look rusty. Others have had the benefit of a relatively regular season thus far and it shows. I'm just happy there is a sporting event I enjoy watching available, even if there has been a lot of disparity in the pool games so far.

Great for Byfield. Hilarious for these forums that now have to try and debate which young prospects performance against terrible teams is worth the most. Now we get to see people argue that Austria is much better than Switzerland. Or that Sloviaka is much better than Austria. And that Switzerland is much better than Slovakia.

The best thing about that game is that Canada showed what appeared to be a little bit of chemistry. The team looks good when it turns up the forecheck. I liked that the team had to play shorthanded for a bit.

I'm interested to see how Levi looks against Finland.

Are the tourney's always this much of a blowout or is the seeding particularity bad this year?

Didn't think Canada's passing was particularly good tonight. Still not tape to tape. But regardless they broke the Swiss. Physical game.
