Czechs scored an OT winner against Denmark.. nice goal from Hronek. It was called back because Kubalik was offside 90 seconds before the goal.

I hated the call but it was the right call and it was the rule and has been whole tournament. Good for Finn coaches to see it and challenge it.

So here are Canadians moaning about bad calls by referees but somehow still the only rule that can change bad calls by referees to a right call but thats still a bad thing?

Man, the reffing sucks. Ohtamaa's penalty was BS and Canada got a couple easy ones before that as well, so I wasn't too upset about it, but still...

Also, speaking as a Finn, Coach's challenge is stupid... Such a small difference. Feels like that isn't the kind of play that it's supposed to prevent. I mean, yeah, rules are rules, but like a couple millimeters don't really change the plays.

Boring game so far. Atrocious hockey. Good Canada PK, but otherwise ugly game from them as well. Finns don't get anything done on the Power Play.

That was good intense hockey that period. I'm pleased, we got the goal back and you can see we are breaking them down and tiring them out now and getting our chances, keep in that groove and pushing and good things should happen. Sucks to have that goal called back but the rules are the rules, we will get another one if we just keep doing what we are doing.

I wish that you couldn't challenge an offside. If the offside is blatant (and thus provides the offensive team a considerable advantage), the refs are going to catch it. However, I can't say I didn't enjoy Canada losing a goal.
