No?? What sport have more corruption? maybe some small obscure sport have it, I do not know. I talk about corruption that directly affect the games, other forms of curroption I do not care about and why should any fans really do? Please tell me any big sports where it seen as natural to have this kinds of tournament, where there are biased refs, 2 countries controll all of the rules etc? Please tell me any other big sport where this is seen as natural?
 
Hockey is the purest sport. Chill out.

Hockey is honourable and for the warriors. This isn't that soft soccer weak ****.

Western Canadian fans bought a trophy for the Soviets to take back with them in 1981. If you have been to Western Canadian and met Canadian people you would not speak this way. Western Canadians are fair and kind people.

Go have a beer with a lad from Saskatchewan, he'll tell you that you can stay at his place. He'll feed you, give you drinks and make sure you have a good time.

If you understood Canadians more, you would know we hate corruption and put fairness above all.

I was referring to figure skating.
 
I find it amusing that Canadians are being accused of cheating and being corrupt when it comes to sport by Russians so shortly after a huge amount of Russian athletes were banned from the Olympics for systematic doping.

I trully hope we go 2010 on their ass. I don't expect it because Bob has been on fire. The Russians have been pretty poor so far, but their goalie is a great equalizer and if the team is to show up for one game, it is surely for this one. Canada will have to come up with its best performance so far.

Yeah, that is pretty much a given. You can throw all the past games Team Canada has played to date out the window. We will need to play better then we have for this contest.

So why not organize a fair tournament then, without refs that have a conflict of interest, why not have the tournament on neutral ground, why not let a neutral organisation organize it then? If you are so much about fairness why give yourself all this kinds of benifits?

Market place of ideas, bad ideas need to be called out. Reasonable people cal this out, the reffing has been excellent. False Narrative.
 
Does anyone disagree with this statement: "Canadian NHL trained referees are the best in the world".

I hold that statement as true, it would be a crying shame if my European fans didn't know how much Canadians value fairness. Unfairness brings even our grown men to tears. If you knew us more, you'd love us more.

Tough as they come, but we are so kind and gentle.

A lot seem to think Canada can just impose their will on the Russian D. Canada should keep a forward out high in the Russian zone and focus on moving the puck out high or to the points, and execute quick counter-attack from turnovers. Don't over-commit our activated D, though, or we'll see a Russian odd-man rush.
