That was very entertaining hockey played by Canada. Really creative and offensive. You didn't see the big plodding hits. Just fast pace execution, passing and scoring. Bobrovsky was really good. Can't fault him.

Two goals are on him solid. I agree with the rest.

Ovechkin shouldn't have come over, but it's not his fault that the whole team sucked. They all lacked energy.

Why exactly? I have just big respect for him and Plekanec. They dont think whether they risk their reputation or whether they would have to swallow such a pill, they just came because they have great attitude to national jersey....

Aaon Ward misleading people yet again. The guy is an idiot and he absolutely hates the Oilers.

Seriously, Malkin as well as other guys on others countries will play for their country any time any where. You can't get mad at someone for that.

Canada usually have the best team on the paper coming in, but can't get the team to work together. I am not surprised that a team coached by a Babcock disciple gets the teamwork aspect together. Canada's poor play in the WHC other years are probably more due to bad coaching than the big ice or players' motivation.

So what was with the Russians leaving early? They didn't even shake hands did they? I could be wrong but both teams are supposed to lineup at their bluelines for the anthem right?

Ovi's such a class act, smiling all the way through the handshake line! No idea why some people don't like him....

They shook hands for sure. At least most of them did, although I assume all.

What is misleading? Sounds like the majority left before the anthem.

Yak didn't play. Why bring it up? That was from the WJCs years ago. Looking at his feed, people think Yak actually said that after the game.

They should have played the anthem first. Would you want to be the one standing there awkwardly for 10 minutes while the confetti rained down and the trophy got passed around? They did it wrong and I don't blame the Russians for leaving the ice. I did see that about 7 or 8 of them stuck around for a while after most had left though.

They shook hands but left early very disrespectful, but what can you say I wouldn't want to be out there after getting dominated. Two heartbreaks for Ovichicken in one week has to suck.

They shook hands just left right after they received there medals

Everyone's saying Ovechkin stayed, though, and tried to get the other players to stay as well.
