He is probably already on vacation somewhere lolIt occured to me last night.. they should've called Kovar! We needed a C ... He would've been a great get too.
Canada loves playing SwedenHalfway done and a much better second period from us.
Curious is the Canuck posters have a preference from Sweden, Finland and US?
No real preference, they will all be tough games.Halfway done and a much better second period from us.

Stepped on Hunt's stick, that's always a penalty. Was that even a foul? Looks like he fell. I'll take it but not sure
He looks fine considering he is a teenager playing in a mens tournament, but he is nowhere close to the best offensive player. He has zero goals and only two assists and hasn't created anything to make note of. His shifts are way too long and he has turned the puck over a lot, especially today, with either weak plays or poor decisions. He doesn't have a lot to work with.
I think he's been pretty noticeable which is always a plus for a young man in a men's tournament.
I'm not sure what kind of deployment and icetime he is getting on Canada compared to Slaf on Slovakia.
He's been more noteworthy than his stint at the WJCs IMO.
I was literally about to say the same. We are quite capable of turning up like in the second period, or like in the first. I have no clue! Will it be jeckyl or Hyde in the third?lol
Very good game so far. Canada started fast and furious, while the Czechs took the initiative in the 2nd. It is apparent both teams know this is more or less a preparation game, so nobody needs to be too nervous, all player can just enjoy the hockey game. The QF's will see a completely different approach.
Listen! You can't allow Martin kaut to score on you and say you are taking it serious!I think they're both trying to get into elimination game mode because it can be hard to just ratchet up the intensity if you wait too long.
I think they're both taking it pretty seriously for a game that doesn't eliminate either team.
