Meh, he turned into it, didn't have to hit him that hard, but contact was inevitable as he committed to the hit by the time he turned. I'm fine with 2.

If a Canadian hit someone like that people would be screaming for a suspension, and the Canadian player would be kicked out of the game. 2 minutes for this is a disgrace.

he can't stop moving at that point, he even gets lower instead of leaving his feet, made the check better not worse, good call, shouldn't be any additional discipline, good thing juulsen is okay

Haven't seen such a terrible junior Russian team since probably... never.
That Dubois push on Russian player after PP goal shouldn't have happened tho. Last guy who did something similar to me will remember it forever...

That was going to be a shoulder hit. He turned at the last minute and put himself into a dangerous position.

I hate those kind of penalties. The Russian player was perfectly fine to make that hit right up until the Canadian player turned, but it's too late to stop the hit. It's dangerous, but there has to be some level of responsibility on the player who turned his back to the hit.

All the people who say he shouldn't have turned....don't worry, there will be a similar hit again in this tourny which will get 5 mins.

Despite his goal, Strome hasn't dominated as much as I'd hoped.

Barzal, Jost have been studs.

What a horrible call that is. Juulsen turned at the very last second, Guryanov didn't even have time to react.
