The rosters have to be in tonight so I would think it would either be tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Teams submit rosters tonight but they are allowed to submit rosters with less than the required players and add them later. The Danes did that with Mathias From last year for example. They were 1 skater short, From was their best player but was injured so they left a spot open hoping he would be healthy and once he was they added him like 4 days into the tournament.

Canada has said whoever they're going with it's going to be 7 D tomorrow so based on that we should know sometime before the game.

Yeah I heard that but the fact nothing has been reported and the roster was submitted without Mahura or Fabrro makes me wonder if they might have changed there minds and decided to push the decision to after the game tomorrow.
Definitely a possibility. They may want to give Fabbro as much time as possible. If it gets closer to the medal rounds and he absolutely cannot go, you plug Mahura in.

If Makar is scratched then I have no words. He's been the best d on the team. There is no chance you've watched either exhibition game if you think he isn't playing.

I've watched both exhibition games, and I don't put much stock in how we played in them considering we were playing two awful teams.

Also the "he's been the best d on the team" is a bit of a stretch considering every dman looked good (even Bean for the most part).

Clague, Mete, Timmins are locks.
Fabbro, if healthy, is a lock. He was also expected to play with Clague.
Bean is a returnee and the management for some reason like him, so he's a lock on the top 6 too.
That leaves the 6th spot for either Makar or Foote.
Makar probably stole that spot, but if he has a bad game against Finland I can see Foote taking over that spot.

McKenzie says that Canada is doing final testing on Fabbro this morning and is adding the seventh defenceman today.

His talent is undeniable unless you struggle to watch the sport.

Awful team's or not he's looked incredible and better than his peers. He was also drafted 4th overall for a reason. Don't see why certain players are 'locks' outside of Clague and Mete. I have noticed multiple Habs fans coming down on Makar for one reason or another. I suspect it has something to do with looking better than Mete in a very small sample size. Which is hilarious and ridiculous at the same time.

Good to hear that Fabbro is in tonight. Some people might not appreciate what he will bring to this team but I have a feeling they will when we get deeper into this thing.

I am sure we would all appreciate what he would bring to the team if he is fully healthy, it just did not sound from what we heard of his practice on Saturday that he was fully healthy. Still, the doctors must have seemed to think he was o.k to play so we will just have to trust that it is so I guess.
