Sweden picked up Nylander today from the AHL.

Don't think they're going anywhere, stronger team on paper than the Finns IMO.

They have to be stronger on ice until I believe they top the Finns imo

Well, my Christmas vacay kicked off with a bang. and it would seem that my concerns of offense/goals were somewhat misguided. and damn do I love a team that can skate.

but it was a jet lagged Czech team missing some key players, so let's not get too carried away...but netting 9 is good for the confidence.

no GDTs for pre-tournament games. tune in on Dec 26 for official HF GDTs. I suppose some enthusiastic fan could create one...but it's just pre-tournament.

Was a big fan of how they did their best to keep the same 5 man units together during 5 on 5 play...I am a big believer it is easier to play as the same 5 man unit then continually rolling through playing with different F and D every other shift.

You could very well be correct on that one, was going off my god awful memory....probably did not help that I constantly had my eyes closed when Bean was on the ice, just looks lost defensively mamma mia!

How could you tell that Bean was lost defensively if you closed your eyes every time he was on the ice? Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

More of an expression for how nervous I was when he was on the ice in our own end. I know he is far better then he showed last WJC, just has some mental lapses are the worst times.
