Fabbro, Mete, Bean, and Foote all look really good. Mahura and Ferraro are looking a little fumbly with the puck and Makar hasn't stood out at all.

Formenton is a beast, hounding pucks like crazy. Watched London all of last season to see Juolevi and Formenton wasn't nearly as noticeable as he is now. Always had the speed but didn't do too much with it, especially in the playoffs where he was pretty poor imo. Great pick by Ottawa though, he's really turned into something great and looks like he's playing at an NHL pace all the time.

Thomas's showing at the Blues' camp being called "good" is an understatement. He's 2nd in PPG in the OHL and is a great 2 way player, He's actually out producing Glass. Other then draft position, i dont know what he has over him.
Thomas has been fantastic this year. I’d still give Glass a pretty good edge for that magic concept of ceiling, though. He’s an extremely cerebral player who you may not notice so well at the junior level. As another poster said, maybe here, maybe in another thread, at Vegas development camp he appeared much worse (likely meaning less flashy) than Suzuki, but when it came to preseason, Glass was able to stand out against NHL players, as the advantages his mind gave became more apparent. I for one would’ve liked to see him in a top-6 role for TC, but I’m not distressed that he was cut. I believe Thomas will be more fun to watch and perhaps more effective as a bottom-6 centre at this level.

Its not too surprising to see guys from the London Knights looking like they will be some of the undeserved guys given spots. As mentioned Team Canada has turned more into a political back scratch when it comes to the roster rather than actually making the best team possible and there are plenty in Ontario that could use some of the Hunters money lining their pockets for doing them favors.

Its unfortunate it has turned into this and hopefully the other kids can overcome it but that is what the team has turned into lately.

I was able to watch Glass in 1 perseason game and he did look awesome, so no doubt there. Im not trying to get in a back and forth here but Thomas has a great preseaon too. His faceoff ability was abysmal though, but he looked like an NHL player.

Not happy about Glass being cut. At all.

Yes, he's only 18 but look at what Canada's C depth, it certainly doesn't inspire confidence. Take the BPA. Everyone else is 19 so why not carry a guy who can lead next years crop, assuming he's not in Vegas. Glass is extremely versatile and plays a structured game. Hard to believe they didn't give him another look. The fact they kept guys like Suzuki, Formenton and Comtois over Glass is an absolute joke. Suzuki is a flashy player and makes you take notice of him whereas Glass has a more refined game and you might not notice him as much but he plays a pro style game. When it comes down to the Medal round who would you rather have? Glass is better than all those players by quite a large margin. Figure it out Ducharme
Seriously though, Suzuki is one of the most skilled players at camp. I watched Suzuki for 2 years now and he is very versatile, kills penalties and scores shorties as well as scores on he shootout. Don't know why you're ripping on him. Have an idea.

So, are you suggesting that the Hunters pay Hockey Canada to take players from London?

Not ripping on Suzuki, I only brought him up because he's not a lock for the team and would seem to be one of the ones Glass was competing with to make the team. Obviously, I'd rather have Glass but I hope Suzuki makes the team.

Howden had the second goal with a knuckler, Formenton scored the third on a Foote rebound. Formenton has probably been the best forward in the game.

In what ways is Glass better then Thomas? The kid is second in scoring in the OHL in points per game and 4th in the OHL in scoring - all while being a great two way player.

Outside of being a WHL guy and being drafted ahead of Thomas - in what ways is he better? Using draft position instead of actually watching someone play is a terrible argument

He is a better shooter, passer and skater. He thinks the game better and is much better at creating offense.
