Let's not gaslight ourselves. Holland sucked ass, and is definitely part of the reason this team isn't a contender right now. The Nurse and Campbell contracts alone have assured this team they won't win a Cup.

Bowman just happens to be worse, and anyone who's surprised wasn't paying attention to how he dismantled the Blackhawks.

Yeah teams come back from 2-0 every year. Series is far from over this team just needs to wake up.

Tampa was an infinitely better team though.

Tampa also didn't can their coach after the most hilarious playoff loss in NHL history (only to be outdone by the 2023 Bruins). They stuck with it because they knew they could bounce back. Tampa is a model organization. The Oilers are... well, not.

The perfect telling on Skinner was in the first. Kings have a grade A chance with an across the crease pass and skinner is coming across not even extended and its in the net. Oilers, same pass across the crease and no open net to shoot.

Even worse when we could have had the goalies that are out dueling Skinner every game. I cannot even think of one game he has won. If its a shutout its because of Steller defense.

Bowman knew everything and still pulled the trigger.

The worst part is Bowman chose a fourth liner on IR with an unpredictable injury over Blackwood which would have costed around the same price. He’s an absolute idiot.

2) wild defensive breakdowns
