They tried to claim the chairs were flimsy and broke while they were sitting on then. How that explains them getting tossed out the windows with a fire extinguisher I have no idea. They didn't find the damage until the next morning and the whole team refused to rat anybody. Infamously Brett hull claimed to be busy doing crossword puzzles all night.

No they couldn't. No matter how much fans think they know...they never know better than people who have been working in the game for decades. This team is poorly coached and/or not listening to Torts but roster changes would not have mattered.

Thank you for being objective. An HFB selected team would be horrible.

You can call out "effort" and "heart" all you want, the difference is hockey ability. Only one, maybe two players from USA would make the Canadian roster.

This is probably the closest thing to reality. The truth of the matter is that Canada is just a better team with better players and a better program.

That may very well be, but people keep going on about how USA should have named Kessel to the team because of "karma" or so he wouldn't have his feelings hurt... Phil Kessel is a grown-ass man who just won the Stanley Cup and we're worried about his feelings??

How would a Phil Kessel who needed surgery have helped this team?

Was Tyler Johnson hurt?

Johnson had his struggle last year as hell wasn't fully healed from his wrist injury until january but now he's 100% so why he isn't there I don't know but good for us to have him ready for our season. A line with him and Kane and maybe Kessel would have been fun to see.
