So, a sample size of 40 minutes isn't fair to judge Schneider for the tournament, but a sample size of 50 minutes is good to judge Quick's entire reputation? Ok...

And I'm not counting the other games this tournament because he was great. Do tell me what horrible things he did wrong the other night in letting in goals on a 2-on-1, 2-on-0, and a screened deflection, hmmm?

No, it adds to a long string of evidence that Quick isn't one of the game's best.

Torts is a knuckle dragger. Why anyone would hire him as their coach is beyond me. The talented players are there for the US but they're either being left off the team or coached by the likes of Torts or Bylsma.

Where the hell is Kessel? He would have been the top scorer on the US team

Oh absolutely. Not a doubt in my mind.

No they couldn't. No matter how much fans think they know...they never know better than people who have been working in the game for decades. This team is poorly coached and/or not listening to Torts but roster changes would not have mattered.

I swear to god those piano notes at the end of the Ron Maclean HNIC commercial are straight out of one of the Mass Effect 3 music tracks.

They would have.

Appeal to authority much? The game has changed

You mean the guy with the highest save% in NHL history?
That really helped him didn't it? He **** the bed against Canada and the staff went with the guy who had a .970% and gave up one goal on 33 shots. Who was the logical choice to go with for this game?
