Oh he got a dime too? Beauty! I've been missing the last few games because of Exams.

The kid just produces. In the recent article, Hockey Futures mentions Nylander hasn't gone more than two games without at least a point. He's clearly figured out how to produce in this league, offense is certainly not a question.

Another good game, the guy just keeps producing. I didn't really expect him to be so effective upon hitting the AHL, but he's doing it.

20 points in his last 19 gp which was also a very important stretch where they hopped a few teams to make the playoffs.

Kid is levelling off as a 0.75 PPG player lately (am i doing it right?)

Anyways, kids gonna be a stud. With all the hype that our 2015 draft pick is getting it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Nylander is even better than Hanifin/Marner/Strome. Even if those 3 live up to their potential.

Don't look now but William Nylander is only 4 points behind Anthony Mantha with 27 less AHL games played (and 2 years younger). This kid is going to be a stud for the Leafs.

Reminded me of something I wrote a couple of years ago.. He was a very consistent point producer at 16 too, and has been on every level since then. Not streaky what so ever like a certain poster implied :p:

I like that he is outproducing both Filip Forsberg and Teuvo Teravainen's paces in the AHL. It's too bad he is in a far worse situation as far as teams go when he enters the NHL. Both Chicago and Nashville seem like they can provide better stability for young players to develop properly.

0.80 ppg. Good for about half-a-point a game in the NHL maximum. Not bad little fellow.

Impossible to say, some actually have higher PPG in NHL than in AHL, some that produce like crazy in AHL do not produce at all in NHL. The first is more common among youngster and the later is more common among older AHL player. But I would have guess that he would have landed around 40p in NHL if he had played the whole season from start.

Picks up speed around the outside, and then the no look, perfect tape to tape pass for the goal. Man he looks good out there

I watched when he did this live against the Lake Erie Monsters. The way he picks up speed around the outside is so deceptively fast. He can blow past a defender so quickly and when he does this, its incredible to watch. I remember the whole crowd buzzing after he did it even though it didn't result in a goal at that time.

Really hope he spends next season in the AHL, this team is going to be a dumpster fire next year. No need to expose him to that.

Blackhawks went - 26-43-0-13 (Year after lockout-Toews Draft) and 31-42-0-9 (Kane draft)
Duncan Keith
Brent Seabrook
Dustin Byfuglien

Kings went 32-43-0-7 (Doughty draft)

Anze Kopitar
Dustin Brown

Teams like Chi and LA weren't scared to let drafted players grow in the NHL; didn't affect their game later on when winning the cup.

My concern with bringing Nylander up is that the Leafs don't have a group that seems to stick up for each other. I could see Nylander taking some cheap shots throughout the year with little to no response from the rest of the team.
