I have to say that watching those Finnish D-men struggle to contain him is kind of amusing.

What a great player he has become!

I feel sick in my stomach thinking how many other Russian kids would have become this good had they not moved to North America too soon. So much wasted talent!

Bragin knows his players. Again. It is pretty official now that his WJC performance was not a fluke. And he is absolutely the coach's player. Plug him on any line and he is effective. He has a slightly different role with AkBars. On the NT he was given a longer leash on offence and better linemates of course too while still being on a technically 4th line. And he responded perfectly.

Yeah, he was definitely around the puck a lot more, challenging defenders, much more of an impact player 5v5.. I wonder, how much is it coaching and the different role and how much simply a confidence surge after a couple of good games in the KHL.

Maybe in National games... In the NHL Id have much higher hopes for Marchenko especially. Something like Marchenko-Dubois-Bjorkstrand leading the offense

I'm both happy for Kazan and KHL to have a developing stud but also sad for the Jackets that he's staying in KHL. You can't tell me he isn't NHL ready. That guy could play on a third line right now and be physically dominant.
