Sam has looked great, but he has taken some big hits -- and some to the head -- in these 3 games. I'm finding it concerning. Absolutely can't blame the kid. He is playing his first NHL games in a hate-fest series.

Bennett's tenaciousness gives him an edge. I've said it since before his draft year, the kid is a puck hound who is relentless in going after the puck.

He's fearless, too. He's got a goal and an assist in the series (ironically, both were on the game winner), but has also contributed to two other goals by virtue of being the screen in front of the goalie when the pucks went in.

I'm enjoying watching him carry over his success from junior into his NHL career.

It's pretty incredible that he's made the jump from junior to an intense playoffs series and he's actually making an impact. This guy could be an absolute star

Seems like his style is built for the playoffs. I didn't see allot of him as a junior but he is as advertised and that's a good thing. Sweet pick up at #4

He might be a guy that misses 10-15 games a year regularly (that just comes with playing a fearless game), but as long as he's playing in the playoffs I don't think Flames fans are going to care. He's gonna be a great player for a very long time.

It might not even be for a very long time, but that's the price of winning hockey. You don't win a Cup on the perimeter.

He's my favourite (drafted) prospect in the league, and his NHL playoff debut has been quite solid. Like you said, he's contributed in ways that don't show up on the scoresheet too, such as screening the goalie for some goals.

nuck fan here, wanted him to fall to us.

What a player! rare combination of grit, skill, and smarts.

Wait till he gets a few pounds on his frame and mature. He will be faster, stronger, shot will improve.

Sky is the limit. Needs to keep his head up, wouldn't want to be injury prone early on.
Needs to pick his spots and know when to crash the net.

Bennett, Monahan and Gaudreau are studs. I'm jealous as a Jets fan.

Calgary and Edmonton are about to become monsters in the West. I feel like the 80's are about to repeat themselves to us Jets fans

Character. This kid is fearless and he's driven. He's built like a teenager at this point but you see him lay it all on the line every shift. He's gonna be a star player that might miss a lot of time because of the way he plays at those speeds.

This kid looks awesome so far.

In the running for best player in the series thus far, and he's not only 18, but has only played in 4 NHL games.
That's crazy.

Let him gain some NHL experience, and finish filling out, and he's going to be an elite NHL'er for a long time.

Received credit for the third Flames goal tonight. 2 goals in 4 playoff games. 3 points.

Don't look now, but Sam Bennett is tied with Ehlers and Larkin in points with 10 this season.

This kid is going to be stud Center for Calgary. I had him as the #2 player in the 2014 draft.

His game goes beyond points, with the intangibles he brings to the game.

Looks amazing out there, doesn't usually get to play with the top offensive guys (LW for Backlund-Frolik).

He was probably my favourite prospect this draft. As a great admirer of Doug Gilmour. Who drafted him and mentored Sam. Calgary and Burke have a real good one here. Wish him all the best. He is proving to be the player many of us knew he was.
