Savoie is a top-5 - I would say top-3 - prospect in this draft. His fall was persistent and illogical, but now he finds himself on a rising team that does not need him to be a centreman. I cannot think of a better place for him to be.

Savoie-Cozens-Quinn
Krebs-Thompson-Tuch
Peterka-Mittelstadt-Ostlund
Kulich-Rosen-Nadeau

Power-Dahlin
Samuelson-Jokiharju
Johnson-Lindgren

Levi
Luukonen
Portillo

Obviously, not everyone will hit on their potential, but that’s a future to be excited about - and even the top (potential) stars are defined by their motor and work ethic. Jack who, indeed.

Aside from the decent stat line, how has he looked this year? Discussion on him has been kind of quiet considering his draft pedigree

The Prospect Board is often dominated by Canadian team fans and a few select other fanbases. There aren't a lot of Sabre fans watching Ice games and Savoie has been a bit quiet coming back off his shoulder injury. It's two strikes in terms of having a lot of chatter.
