Big, strong with a great shot and excellent hockey sense. His point potencial is unclear, but it will be similiar with first Voracek season in the CHL. But Zacha is much better shooter and he has much better defensive skills.

He wasn't born with hockey talent. All he has is due to hard work. He's not better than others in his age due to height and weight. He's better because he works on yourself more than others.

His middle name is ,,Hardworking'' an that is a reason, why he will be a top player one day.

hmmm and maybe Deangelo cracks the 100 point mark?hahah.... Ill be curious to see what kind of numbers Deangelo will hit when he plays the whole season and has another weapon on his team like Zacha

Very nice! This mucho interesting draft class becomes even more interesting with Zacha playing against his age group.

Sarnia should have 6 NHL 1st rounders in a span of 5 drafts (Yak, Galch, DeAngelo, Goldobin, Zacha and the D with the complicated name they drafted 1st overall this year).

Fantastic news!

All I know is what I've heard through scouting reports. I'll definitely be tuning into Sarnia games to check him out. I haven't seen the O this deep before. What a time to be alive! :laugh:
 
As expected. Walsh is a clown.

Gonna try and tune in to a lot of Sarnia games this year. I'm very curious about both Zacha and Chychrun. With skill players like DeAngelo and Goldobin in the team as well they should be entertaining to watch this coming season.

That has a areason. He was stil under contract with Liberec. So, i think, Sarnia muss pay for his buyout. If he would play for some national team this summer (U 20 or U 18), his price will be higher.

This is absolutely huge for Sarnia and the city in general. Looking to see a lot of improvement from this team next year. Also find it pretty funny/ironic Allan Walsh goes and makes those moronic comments about a month ago saying how Sarnia completely threw away the first overall pick and Zacha wasn't coming then find himself posting this a month later.

I'd even add Nikita Korostelev to that list Marc. He's a surefire first rounder in my opinion from the viewings I have had of him as a rookie. I think he's going to turn a lot of heads this year along with Zacha.
 
Purely speculation on my part, but isn't it possible Walsh knew what he was doing the entire time? Publicly humiliating the Sting might have put even more pressure on them to cave in to whatever demands Walsh and Zacha were making to try and save face.

But the most likely explanation is probably the right one - teenagers change their minds a lot and Zacha simply changed his. And Walsh was just shooting off at the mouth (keyboard) as he's done before.

Anyway looking forward to seeing Zacha in North America.

At that time they had a serious offer from some russian KHL team. KHL >>> ... >>> OHL.
Also the money factor.

I think he wanted Quebec for Zacha, that's all. His father before draft mentonied Quebec's ambitions etc.. Walsh is a good agent. His frustration made ​​a mistake, but it happens to everyone occasionally.

Sort of my rationale too. Walsh was content to play the clown and laugh all the way to the bank. He's been in the game too long for me to think he was only acting out of emotion instead of strategy.
