According to his father, he is going to North America next season. Look for this year CHL Draft.

I can see it...

Yesterday there was an article on his website about seriously considering an offer from KHL which could change things..

...and his agent is quick to tweet that he's not interested in playing for Sarnia:

Allan Walsh ‏@walsha 6m
Sarnia was advised that Pavel Zacha has a professional contract in Czech Republic for 2 more years and has no interest in playing for them.

Allan Walsh ‏@walsha 3m
Sarnia just wasted the #1 overall pick in the CHL Import Draft on a player who's not coming and has a professional contract. #RookieGM

Starting to think Walsh is pissed that Zacha didn't fall to Quebec and have the guaranteed shot at the memorial cup.

Quebec's GM confirmed Zacha was his first pick. Allan Walsh is just being Allan Walsh!

He definitely had a deal with Quebec.

From his dad's website:

(on the first overall pick in CHL Import draft)

"This is for sure another personal success even though we gotta admit there's no champagne exploding yet. In the next few days, we are yet to be deciding on what we're gonna do about next season. Right now, Pavel is on a hockey camp Octagon in Montreal."

Seems weird that his dad has a website for him.

Well, the guy is basically his product (if I can say it that way). It's not like he's developed so good because of some czech development program. Since he was a little boy (maybe when he wasn't even born yet), his dad knew he would make him a famous athlete. They are going according to some plan and showing the results on the website. He also reacts there to many things regarding czech junior hockey and junior hockey overall. It's a long time ago since the web started.

Yeah, it's not really just a website about Pavel. A lot of it is about junior hockey in general and advice to other parents. He talks about training, finding agents, how to progress through the different levels of junior hockey, corruption and politics in hockey, etc.

Honestly, I'm more surprised there isn't a blog like that in Canada. It's very useful, IMO.

Yesterday was a status on his Official Facebook page about he will go to CHL, but now I looks and the status was deleted.

There is still this unknown russian KHL team. Maybe that is their solution for next season.
