Most of their team will be back yes... they will lose Toporowski due to age which is unfortunate cause he was an unbelievable acquisition but everyone will be a year older and a year stronger... and like I said they will utilize some draft picks and maybe prospects to add pieces they may need.

One wild card will be if NYR decides to return goalie Dylan Garand to Kamloops as a 20 year old(unsure NYR depth chart in AHL and ECHL). He has signed a contract and usually 20 year olds go on to play in their system somewhere but they may feel a Memorial Cup long season may be better for his development. If he is returned, that would be a MASSIVE addition.

IMO there is a good chance next season we will see another Kamloops VS Seattle West final again.. Seattle will also be a strong team again
Garand is not expecting to be back. As he said here: Clouston on Blazers, Bedard, Memorial Cup, goalies, narratives

Kamloops has major work to do with the blueline, and there's still the question of whether Ernst is ready to be a mem cup goalie in his draft year. The idea of giving what it would take to acquire Bedard seems crazy in light of that. Their returning fwd group is easily the strength of the team at this point.

The top 6 is already elite with Stankoven, Minten, Levis, Seminoff, Bankier, Kuefler. I hope they don't go for Bedard. Wayyyyy too expensive. A guy like Ostapchuk would be better value wise.

Agree with the bold, and Ostapchuk is another fwd. They need D. Whoever is D version of Ostapchuk would be perfect. Big fan of his game.

Is he sitting down in this photo? There’s no way he’s actually this small right? He looks 5 foot 5.

Yeah he is small but so is Gadreau. Not saying he will be as good but give this kid a chance before calling the shots for what his career will amount too.

At least he weighs more than Gadreau and DeBrincat.

One other thing I noticed, which might not make a huge difference, is that he was wearing loafer type shoes while other guys were wearing formal dress shoes. Might be an inch difference because of that :).. Still pretty short though! Hoping he might grow an inch or 2 still.

Hmmm one can hope but I definately wouldn't count on that haha... he's 19 already and has been at his current height for a few years now and quite thick and filled out already... they keep listing him at 5'8 but I know he's under 5'7 plus everyone knows hockey players always exaggerate their size on their teams!.. my honest guess would be 5'6 maybe 5'6.5

I have said in a few threads that people would be shocked just how short of a person he is if they saw him in real life off ice... unfortunately height wise won't improve but hopefully he just continues to get bigger and stronger and can have success at the next level.

His size has always been a huge question mark for quite a few years yet he keeps proving people wrong!!

If anyone gets the chance to watch him though in junior, I highly suggest it... he's an extremely high skilled player and will put up a gross amount of points next season

He's not a finesse guy at that height which is impressive. Also has the speed to beat D-men wide.

If Stank turns out to be another Patty Verbeek i would be extremely pleased. Stank so just elite af and he is going to make that jump sooner rather than later i feel.

If Stankoven scores 500 goals as an NHLer then yeah, that is an absolute win, seeing as how he'd only be the second Stars draft pick (post '93), to hit that mark.

The other one is Iginla.
